Welcome Back, friends!

Hi friends,

Can you believe we’re already kicking off another school year? There’s just something about September—the excitement in the air, fresh notebooks and pencils, kids buzzing with energy (and maybe a little bit of nerves too). It always feels like a fresh start, and I’m so grateful we get to do this together.

I just wanted to personally welcome you to the PTO, new and returning members, thank you for giving us your time, money, and support. 

This month is packed full of fun things happening at Buffalo, and the PTO can’t wait to jump in:

✨ September at a Glance

• Sept 1 – Labor Day, no school!

• Sept 8 – Our very first PTO Meeting of the year 💛 Come join us—no pressure, just a chance to hear what’s going on and meet some new faces.

• Sept 11 – Raise Craze Kickoff 🐝 Our biggest fundraiser of the year!

• Sept 22–26 – Book Fair + Membership Drive 📚 This is always a favorite week!

• Sept 24 & 25 – Open Houses (K–2 on the 24th, 3–5 on the 25th). Stop by the PTO table and say hi—we’ll be there with big smiles and all the info you need.

• Sept 30 – Membership Drive Ends + Raise Craze Wrap-Up- and CLEARANCES need to be turned in. 

Here’s the thing: being part of the PTO isn’t about having loads of free time or signing up for everything. It’s about being part of this joyful little hive we’re building together—supporting our kids, cheering on our teachers, and making school feel a little more magical. 

So here’s to September. A month of fresh beginnings, new connections, and all the happy chaos that comes with the back-to-school season. I can’t wait to see what we create together this year.
